When you have a Hybridge practice such as Dental Hmo's & PPO's etc. as well as fee for service. When you get no money to see a Dental HMO patient on recare, there is no incentive to PUSH these patients to come in like clockwork. Do have experience with these type of practices?

We have Easy Dent for soft ware it sucks for Recare, it lists once & then drops the patient off the list unless we manually put patient back in recare list!

If schedule six months in advance where do you put New Patients, if there are no openings?

We recommend practices reserve new patient hygiene appointments in their schedules as schedules can become quite full once practices begin to pre-appoint and begin to experience a steady stream of patients.

Would you recommend that the recall system be done by the front office? We make our own appointments for hygiene, but the front office handles all other appointments.
