Sofia Dental Meeting 2011 - Conservative esthetic solutions : Demonstration of anterior restoration

Angelo Putignano, MD, DDS

, Release date: Thursday, September 29, 2011, Expiration date: Monday, September 29, 2014

recorded webinar

Course Fee: $ 49.00

The restoration of the anterior region using direct techniques has always encountered a partially unsatisfied generic dentist, complaining of a low esthetic success.

One of the principal problems consists in the fact that it is difficult to obtain a color exactly corresponding to the one of the shade guide.  This phenomenon is related to the fact that the ensemble of chromatic masses changes the results, thus depending on the different used thickness.

Therefore, during the “live” demonstration a recipe of the layering technique will be proposed, in order to obtain a predictable and successful result that will satisfy not only the patient, but also the clinician, that, consequently, will be motivated to improve the quality of their restorations.

Learning objectives:
  • Principles of cavity preparation
  • Composite layering technique
  • Finishing and polishing technique
